pioneer dress again

just quick to let you see the material I am using for the pioneer clothing.

creamy light yellow with perriwinkle/lavender buds

this is more green in real life
and the material and lace for the underthings

unbleached muslin
The thread is antique ecru size 30 Daisy thread passed down to me from my grandmother, who was born in 1890.  This edging is being crocheted, not tatted, as I can do it faster.

  1. That will be gorgeous all put together. That crocheted edging is very similar to the one on your bonnet!

  2. yes, Karrieann, I noticed that right away when I looked at your bonnet. to me, it looks exactly the same, but wont' know for sure until the bonnet arrives.

I was only going to make 1 dress, but saw the green on an infrequent trip to a fabric store in the nearest town with one ~ 60 miles away. before I was able to complete the online purchase on etsy for the cream. so I will be making 2 dresses.
