I was checking out the patterns on Gina's blog http://threadsofatattinggoddess.blogspot.com/
I decided to download and save all her patterns so they would be available to me in the future.
I was wondering if any one has tatted Gina's Seashell pattern
http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/2067575/seashell-pattern-from-9-03-1-doc-july-14-2010-5-50-pm-25k?da=y
it doesn't have a picture. I would like to add a picture to my copy of her pattern, then save the file as a pdf.
thanks

In Tatting as in Life knots are important, they hold it all together.

I think that pattern goes with one of the pictures on her blog post of Nov 9, 2003, the one on the left. I wonder if she ever recorded the pattern for the clam shell on the right, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha, I will add that picture to the pattern, then save it as a pdf. you are right, the clam shell is pretty. I am going to add the pic as well and note that the pattern needs to be written.
DeleteThanks for finding these.
I was thinking of writing up that pattern as well. I wonder if I still have her daughter's address to ask permission to share.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't find it, I suspect that Palmetto tatters might have it, or maybe Jane Eborall.
DeleteI tatted that here http://umintsuru.blogspot.sg/2012/02/remembering-tatting-goddess.html
ReplyDeleteThank you, that looks very good.
DeleteGood idea to have collected her patterns...
ReplyDeleteLove the new look of your blog. Elegant.
Fox : )
Thanks Fox, I am still debating about the Christmas tree, it works great on wider monitors, on the smaller monitors, it covers up some of the post, but all you have to do is scroll up to see the post.
